I am not a religious person but as an observer agree with you and add what religions offer in tandem “Reward and Recognitions” when targets achieved and  face consequence upon failures; this factor boosts the success rate of projects, just like believers follow guidelines (rituals &amp; revelations). I would rather say carrot and stick as a control factor in projects and enforcing discipline.</description>
