John - Thanks so much for featuring our organization and PM Skills for Life. We greatly appreciate your support!

PM Hut - You are absolutely right about experience being the greatest teacher of project management. We do not want to mislead readers of this guide into thinking that they can be a good project manager by reading the guide alone. It is a guide and should be accompanied by age-appropriate exercises depending on the age of the reader. Learning through projects in the classroom can give students the basic skills that are necessary in project management, and they should build on those skills once they enter the workforce.

I think the only way to learn Project Management is through real experience. Teaching someone Project Management using books with no practice is a futile exercise.
